First Announcement and Call for Papers The ARC Australian Research Network for Advanced Materials 2008 Annual Event will be an informal workshop to be held at the Deakin University’s Waurn Ponds campus. The three day workshop will focus on the following five research areas: · Structural and Functional Materials · Electronic, Photonic and Magnetic Materials · Energy, Environmental and Bio Materials · Manufacturing Materials · Materials Characterisation

ARNAM 2008 Workshop Format

A small number of plenary overview papers from Australian and overseas research leaders.

Contributed papers mainly from research students and early career researchers

 

Prizes for Students/Early Career Researchers

Up to 10 prizes will be awarded for the best oral and poster presentations by early career researchers and students. The total value of these prizes will be approximately $3,000 and award plaques.

 

Travel and Accommodation

ARNAM will cover all local costs for contributing participants.

Contributing students and early career researchers will receive travel grants.
