Applying for Funding to Support ECRs and Students to Attend Already Established Conferences and Workshops in Australia

Please attach a document with the following details:
- nature of conference (research area/topic to be addressed)
- preliminary program
- list of speakers
- expected audience size
- number of students/ECRs who attended in previous years
- summary details of projected costs
- evidence of financial support from other sources
- outline of how the funds will be spent supporting students/ECRs
- statement of benefits to 'materials' students/ECRs that attendance will bring
- statement to clearly demonstrate that ARNAM funding will increase student/ECR participation

Successful applicants

Must acknowledge funding support from ARNAM and the ARC in any publication that results from the activity.

Must provide ARNAM with a short 1-2 page report of the outcomes of the activity within a month of completion.

Payment of funding support will be made as a reimbursement to the institution incurring the expenses. The institution is asked to issue a tax invoice to ARNAM and attach copies of the original invoices of costs incurred.
