The untimely passing of Simon Vos

Simon Vos died tragically while white water kayaking on the Severn River in northern New South Wales on the 14th October, 2006.

Simon, who was actively in to rockclimbing and kayaking, is sadly missed by both the outdoors and engineering community. He was 24.

The rock climbing community has officially named a route on the East Face of Tibrogargan in the Glasshouse Mountains in Simon's honour: The Simon Vos Memorial 18m (grade 27).
